Reviews
Good food, bad service. I would give the service another try for the sake of the food but will probably try out other restaurants in the area first. Baleada con frijoles, crema, queso y huevo ($3.50). Surprisingly filling and tasty considering the simplicity of ingredients and the size of the baleada - would get again. Pollo Chaco ($13): This was very strange. The chicken was perfect, nice and crispy and there were a variety of veggies and ingredients on the plantains. I wasn't a huge fan of the sauce. Wouldn't get again, but I was glad I tried it. Horchata: Delicious. Good prices, clean and homey restaurant. However, the waitress seemed a bit rude. She was speed-mumbling when talking to us so we could barely understand her. She did not appear to understand me half the time when I spoke in either English or Spanish and even my mother, who is a native Spanish speaker, could barely understand her. As someone who's been in customer service, I felt she was doing the bare minimum.
Humble spot in Chelsea with heavy-hitting flavors! It tasted like the chicken had been marinating for weeks! After a day of moving furniture, this was the comfort meal I didn't know I needed. The staff was really kind and let me try to order in Spanish without laughing at me. 1000% will come back again!
Great place to eat that I found in the neighborhood. The waiters were helpful and friendly and that's nothing to speak of the food I ate! It was delicious and I'll return very soon.
Super baleadas with steak The food is always delicious when I order from here. I like the steak baleadas over the chicken ones even though I'm a chicken lover
